Many people find walking therapeutic in itself and there is lots of research demonstrating the beneficial effect physical exercise can have on your ability to process feelings and thoughts. 

In this form of therapy we meet at an agreed location to walk for a maximum of 50 minutes in total giving us time to sit on a bench for a rest if appropriate and return to our starting point. 

 

We will agree the location according to your needs and aim for it to be somewhere with as little interruption and disturbance as possible.  It obviously depends on where you feel safe and comfortable.  We can discuss where might be best to meet and what you might be looking for when we meet outside

The same rules of confidentiality applies to this form of therapy and there are some separate protocols which we would cover either in an online or telephone session prior to meeting physically. There is a separate contract for this form of therapy which includes a Health & Safety questionnaire which we would complete in an online session prior to meeting.
