If you would like to find out more about working with me online I would like to invite you to contact me to arrange a free exploratory 15 minute session when we can work out whether it would be right for us to work together. If appropriate I can signpost you to organisations or other therapists who may better suit your needs. I have a wide network of experienced and warm therapists to whom I refer when appropriate.
When you contact me, either by email or through my website contact form, I will aim to respond to you that same working day. I try to maintain a healthy work life balance so if you get in touch outside normal working hours I may not reply until the next day but I do understand that that initial contact can be a leap in the dark and want to honour that courage by responding to you promptly.
If we agree to work together, we will arrange a regular weekly ongoing time slot to meet online via zoom for an initial contract of 6 weeks. Before our first session I will send you a welcome pack including my contract, information about GDPR, an assessment form for you to complete and some information about working confidentially online. I will send you a reminder by email or text of your appointment 48 hours before our meeting time (or on the Friday if we are meeting on Monday) and you will need to pay my fee by bank transfer at least 24 hours before we meet.
Sessions last for 50 minutes and I will warn you 10 minutes before the end of the session so that we can spend the next 10 minutes wrapping up and discussing any between session tasks which we may have identified.
I am an Accredited Member of the BACP and hold professional insurance with a UK registered insurer which means that I operate under UK legislation and guidance. If you are travelling abroad and continuing therapy this needs to be clearly stated.
I look forward to meeting you.
