Everything you tell me in our therapy sessions is confidential with certain exceptions which I will discuss with you in our first session.

This happens very rarely, particularly with online work, but is something that again we can discuss in our first session. I would normally suggest that we simply acknowledge each other with a nod but do not have a conversation; if you are with someone else I would not expect you to acknowledge that you knew me as they might then be curious about our relationship. It is obviously up to you and we can agree a way forward together but our relationship needs to remain professional and carefully boundaried at all times.

I work in my private practice on Mondays and offer sessions between 8am and 6pm. There can be some flexibility for evening work by prior discussion.

I am based in Derbyshire and love the flexibility of online work meaning I can work with clients from all over the UK.
